໐ ||||| är en audiovisuell föreställning – en slags expanderad stumfilmsbio med elektroakustisk livemusik och flerkanalsvideo som äger rum i en scenografi med ljud- och ljuskällor samt projektionsytor i olika format. Videomaterial från Peking, Kebnekaise och arkivfoto på 16mm film möter ett experimentellt soniskt rymdlandskap för en unik narrativ upplevelse med kontraster i natur, kultur och tid – allt en del av samma kontinuum. Genom en sammanflätning av parallella skeenden och simultan tid stimulerar ໐ ||||| till en kontemplation över flöden, information och närvaro som, mellan landskap och ljudsättning, prövar perspektivet på att vara en levande varelse här och nu, och oundvikligen i förlängningen, där och då, och sedan: framöver.
De fyra konstnärerna har samarbetat tidigare i olika konstellationer, men inte alla fyra samtidigt som en grupp. De möts nu för att genom det här experimentet frammana en ny vision tillsammans hos Skogen.
Om konstnärerna:
Amina Hocine är en svensk tonsättare, ljudkonstnär och instrumentbyggare. Hon skriver akusmatisk och noterad akustisk musik som utforskar upprepning och minimala harmoniska rörelser. Hennes senaste arbete har kretsat kring en självkonstruerad orgel bestående av VVS-komponenter, som producerar hypnotiska droner med kraftiga psykoakustiska effekter. Med inspiration från andlig vetenskap väver hon detaljerade klangfärger som uppmuntrar till djupt lyssnande. Hon har spelat runtom i Europa och har nu senast skrivit ett stycke för INA GRM acousmonium på Edition festival i Stockholm.
Queenning Zhao skapar skulpturer och rumsligheter som utforskar personliga minnen och ekosystem. Hon undersöker platsens och minnets flyktighet och deras koppling till en längtan efter ursprung, både personligt och kollektivt. Med paralleller till scenografins värld där teaterdekor skapar illusioner och imitationer så undersöker hon spänningen som uppstår mellan skalförskjutning, materialens antydan och deras verkliga natur.
Rasmus Persson är göteborgsbaserad ljudskapare, tekniker och musiker, främst verksam i olika scenkonstsammanhang. Rasmus har genom en rad olika kollaborationer utforskat de gränsland där teknik möter ljud/ljus/rum/röst/rörelse/bild.

Rickard Eklund arbetar med grafik, skulptur och film. Genom sitt experimentella konstnärliga arbete utforskar han poetiska idéer kring perspektiv på tiden och perceptionens gränser. Hans verk har visats på platser som 3:e våningen i Göteborg, Kunsthal Charlottenborg i Köpenhamn och CYNETART-festivalen i Dresden och han har även uppmärksammats för sina skivomslag och musikvideor.

໐ ||||| is an audiovisual performance – a kind of expanded silent film cinema with electroacoustic live music and multichannel video, set in a scenography featuring sound and light sources as well as projection surfaces in various formats. Video footage from Beijing, Kebnekaise, and archival film on 16mm film meet an experimental sonic spatial landscape, creating a unique narrative experience with contrasts in nature, culture, and time – all part of the same continuum. Through an intertwining of parallel events and simultaneous time, ໐ ||||| stimulates contemplation on flows, information, and presence that, between landscape and sound design, challenges the perspective of being a living creature here and now, and inevitably, in extension, there and then, and ultimately: moving forward.
The four artists have previously worked together in various combinations, but never all four as a single group. Now, they unite for the first time in this experiment to conjure a new vision at Skogen.
About the artists:
Amina Hocine is a Swedish composer, sound artist, and instrument builder. She writes acousmatic and notated acoustic music that explores repetition and minimal harmonic movements. Her recent work has revolved around a self-constructed organ made from plumbing components, producing hypnotic drones with strong psychoacoustic effects. Inspired by spiritual science, she weaves intricate timbres that encourage deep listening. She has performed around Europe and most recently composed a piece for the INA GRM acousmonium at Edition Festival in Stockholm.
Queenning Zhao creates sculptures and spatialities that explore personal memories and ecosystems. She examines the transience of place and memory and their connection to a longing for origin, both personal and collective. Drawing parallels to the world of scenography, where theatrical sets create illusions and imitations, she explores the tension that arises between scale shifts, the suggestion of materials, and their real nature.
Rasmus Persson is a Gothenburg-based sound creator, technician, and musician, primarily active in various performing arts contexts. Through a series of collaborations, Rasmus has explored the borderlands where technology meets sound/light/space/voice/movement/image.

Rickard Eklund works with graphics, sculpture, and film. Through his experimental artistic work, he explores poetic ideas about perspectives on time and the boundaries of perception. His works have been shown at venues such as 3:e Våningen in Gothenburg, Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen, and CYNETART Festival in Dresden. He has also gained recognition for his album covers and music videos.
