SOUP & POTLUCK – JOIN US FOR DINNER!

STAY AFTER WORKSHOPS AND READINGS, OR COME EARLY TO OUR EVENING PROGRAMS

On each program day* at 18.00, we will make a soup for everyone to share – if you join please feel free to pimp our dinner with bread, cheese, drinks, desserts or whatever eatable and suitable – big or small. If you have nothing to bring or no time to prepare you are still as welcome – at least there will be soup!

WIKI KNOWLEDGE: The word “potluck”, or “potlatch” stems from the Chinook Jargon, meaning “to give away” or “a gift”; originally from the Nuu-chah-nulth word paɬaˑč, to make a ceremonial gift. … The potlatch is “a gift-giving feast practiced by indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast of Canada and the United States, among whom it is traditionally the primary economic system.
