SWIPE TAP SLEEP REPEAT highlights and dramatises the repetitive behaviours that become automatic and eventually invisible. This project reflects, extends and transforms the everyday routines that are born from social media into an alternative world. A world characterised by the possibility to show or to be shown, where the ‘bad’ and the ‘ugly’ is blurred and smeared out in Photoshop and social media is a platform for self-curated exhibition – the rise of the social media narcissism.
SWIPE TAP SLEEP REPEAT is a bachelor degree project by Queenning Zhao, a third year design student at HDK. She explores the narrative impact of scenography and invites the viewer to a personal experience between the given space and content.
The performance is an open dialogue with the dancers and the objects. The spatial installation is open for the audience to explore before the performance starts.
Bring your friends and phones, explore and have some food/wine for a chat and ENJOY.

Anna Koch is a dancer / choreographer working in a wide range of practices and fields, in Sweden and internationally. Since 2006 she has been running the dance/art platform Weld in Stockholm. In 2013, she initiated Weld Company, a empowering structure for dance and choreography, aiming to rediscover and revaluate the institution of the Dance Company and to update the Company form through collective work.

ishi vu: With his imagination firmly indulged in thoughts of hermetism and synthesis, it is perhaps only natural that ishi vu readily erases many of the boundaries that keep the one from the other. This simple but profound philosophy puts a fundamental dynamic mark on ishi vu’s expression – in everything from odd choice of words to explorative musical efforts. ishi vu’s forthcoming record on Studio Barnhus—releasing this week—has already been picked up by Resident Advisor and THUMP to name a few.
